About the Big Fig

The Big Fig makes fresh, delicious food using ingredients from local organic farmers and retailers. Our menus for events, parties and business meetings showcase the produce of the season. From our freshly baked focaccia bread, to our Sussex wood pigeon carpaccio topped with maderia jelly, to our delectable brownies – we’ll ensure you’re getting something special.

We are a part of The Platform, a social enterprise hub creating, supporting and inspiring the growth of business for good. We achieve this through running our own social businesses, supporting people to achieve their potential through learning and skills, and supporting other social enterprises in the city to set up and grow.

At the Big Fig we deliver exceptional catering whilst also creating positive social outcomes. Our profit is reinvested to teach people with barriers to work to cook healthy food, learn skills, gain qualifications and get into a career in catering.
